In short: A 60-day feeding plan for SW88 mint follows the growth stages: days 0–7 rooting, 8–20 recovery, 21–35 canopy development, 36–50 biomass build-up and 51–60 pre-harvest. The basis is organic base dressing, light nitrogen early, balanced potassium later and regular microbial drenches. Repeat the cycle after every cut.
| Stage | Goal | Feeding and care |
|---|---|---|
| Days 0–7 | Rooting | No extra feed; keep evenly moist, shade if very sunny |
| Days 8–20 | Recovery, new leaves | Diluted fish liquid fertilizer or liquid organic feed weekly |
| Days 21–35 | Canopy development | Organic top dressing (about 0.5 kg/m²); weed and loosen soil |
| Days 36–50 | Biomass build-up | Add potassium (wood ash, banana peel liquid or organic potash); microbial drench |
| Days 51–60 | Pre-harvest | Stop nitrogen 10–15 days before cutting; watch buds to pick the cutting day |
Clear old leaves, weed, top-dress with organic feed and apply microbes within 3–5 days so the crop sprouts quickly. Then repeat the 60-day cycle.

Records let you compare cuts and tune rates for each plot. The schedule is a reference; adjust up or down for poor or rich soils.
Late nitrogen produces soft, watery leaves with lower oil content and more disease.
Conventional fields can use them as recommended. Our model prioritises organic inputs – see the three-pillar model.
